Garçoa is a small, puristic bean to bar chocolate maker from Zurich Wollishofen in Switzerland.
The cocoa of this chocolate bar is sourced directly from Rio Piura in the Chulucanas area in Peru. The dried cocoa beans are shipped to Switzerland, where they are roasted, winnowed and ground in small batches. The finished chocolate is poured by hand and also packaged manually. Everything is minimally processed to keep the unique flavor of the cocoa. Only two ingredients are used: cocoa beans and sugar, without cocoa butter and without any other additives.
Garçoa uses a single-origin Porcelana cocoa bean in this chocolate bar. Despite the high cocoa content, this results in a bright bar.
