The latest invention from Geneva. Coffola is created with coffee. A coffee to chew on.
At first glance, you might think it's chocolate. But it is only a deceptive appearance. Once in the mouth, our palate clearly recognizes the aromas of finest 100% Arabica coffee.
It all started when Bertrand Baud tasted a cocoa bean that strangely tasted as bitter as a pure coffee bean. If it's possible to turn a cocoa bean into chocolate, why isn't it possible to turn a coffee bean into Coffola? Bertrand Baud shares his thoughts with two of his friends who listened with amusement.
Bertrand Baud turned his kitchen into a real workshop and day after day he aspired to grind coffee beans in a mortar and mix them with milk and sugar. The idea was to use the same transformation process as cocoa. Even if the first results were not conclusive, Bertrand always persisted and changed his methods. A new tasting with friends showed that he found a new way to delight coffee lovers with a new way of enjoying coffee.
